Apple Praline Pie
2 pie crusts
Filling
6-8 apples (peeled & sliced)
2 T lemon juice
1 C sugar
2 T cornstarch

½ tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
2 T butter (cubed)

½ C brown suger
2T half&half
½ C pecans (toasted)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place bottom crust in pie plate. Toss sliced apples with lemon juice. Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Stir into apples, and pour fruit into pie plate. Dot with butter and cover with pie dough. Crimp edges of bottom and top crusts to seal. Cut 4 to 5 air vents in top of crust. Brush with approximately 1 tsp milk and sprinkle with a bit of sugar. Bake 1 hour. Heat the brown sugar and half & half in a saucepan until bubbly. Stir in pecans to coat. Pour over hot pie and serve immediately.
